District Vision’s variety of running glasses has been all the rage for the past few years, and several performance brands have admired its catalog just as much as we have. The eyewear manufacturer’s latest collaboration partner is fellow boutique running brand Tracksmith, and the two have come together to design an entirely new silhouette in the Kazu Tourer.

The alpine-styled pair of shades takes inspiration from ‘70s-era performance eyewear and Formula 1 style, boasting ventilated lenses, an inlaid titanium badge, and integrated side shields. Aside from looking remarkably sleek, the Kazu Tourer comes equipped with District Vision’s proprietary D+ therapeutic grade lenses. The glasses were made in collaboration with Sucuk & Bratwurst, a Berlin-based design studio that helped accentuate the silhouette’s meticulous Japanese craftsmanship. This joint effort is available in a pair of colors, Glacier and Tortoise Copper, the latter of which features polarized D+ Copper lenses.

Moreover, this glare-reducing polarized treatment also allows a mere 10.03% of visible light transmission and roughly 6% of blue light transmission, whereas the Glacier’s Blue Ice lens allows just north of 21% for both of these categories. Nevertheless, either option you pick up will block 100% of UVA/UVB rays, so rest assured that the sun won’t be anything to worry about. The anti-reflective sunglasses feature a water-and-oil-repellent protective treatment, as well as a fully-adjustable rubber nose pad and temple tips to ensure the perfect fit.

If you’ve been looking for a great pair of running sunglasses, you’d be hard-pressed to find any better than this. The collaboration between District Vision and Tracksmith is available on the latter’s online shop now, with the non-polarized Glacier priced at $250 and the polarized Tortoise Copper going for $295.
